the convergence point of interactivity

In Cannes, apparently the cradle of cinema, we immersed ourselves for a whole day in long and interesting dialogues on the future, interactivity and technology. It all started with Microsoft and the Envisioning team where he was our guest Senior Business Strategist Harald Becker. And this inspired post on the future of interactivity starts from here!

While Microsoft was telling its window into the future with videos and notes, I tried to close my eyes and suddenly I projected myself as an observer onto the time line and said to myself “…if you miss a train, don't chase it! anticipate the next by already focusing on the future…”. So if you have missed the train of mobile platforms, social networks, search engines, online advertising, music, videos, ugc systems… perhaps it is better to focus on the near future by anticipating possible trends. I think at Microsoft they really thought about this when they developed the Envisioning team. Video productions designed ad hoc project you into a future where "always on" "total immersion" interactivity draws a life totally connected with information and providers. Finally a future where we will stop talking about the "digital divide" and without the current hypocrisy of telcos, the connection will finally be an integrated and discounted commodity as today we could define a telephone, a watch or a pair of shoes. And so it will be! we have no doubts. The form will probably be different but the substance is the same. And so a graph takes shape, where the revolution of informational and emotional interactivity becomes the point of convergence of sectors and media. Imagine the automotive sector, fashion or games. Look closely at what happened. Try to think about tomorrow. And here you are that many assumptions about the future will seem obvious to you. Cars that we will control with the word, clothes that change shape and color, games that interact with the mind. The point of convergence becomes the revolution, the big bang, the moment in which everything will be integrated but also a new time from which everything will take shape again. We will restart from the convergence to reach new frontiers where I hope we will finally pilot space shuttles, float in the air and fight our pollution on this planet before exporting it to other galaxies.

Coming back here. Style Star ed Ideol they continue to look to the future, to the crossing and convergence point as an added value.

Microsoft is on this train and abandons the local system in favor of an eco information system of the environment.
We look forward to improving our coexistence in this world!
